Information Gathered by PODER’s Site

For visitors to our website, we may, but generally do not, log standard technical information, such as the IP address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site. Circumstances in which we temporarily log standard technical information include conducting site testing, diagnosis of technical problems, and defending against attacks on the site. We generally do log the date and time users access our site on an anonymous basis.

PODER will collect and retain information you submit to us. It is up to you whether to submit information to us, and how much information to provide. For online donations we also ask for your credit card information.

We may ask for additional personal information when you provide feedback or comments, or otherwise communicate with us. While we respect anonymous donations, please note that your personal information is required if you choose to donate using our online form.

 

PODER’s Use of Information

We use your information to process and manage your contribution. If you opt in, we will use your e-mail address to send you updates and alerts so you may take action, such as contacting a decision-maker or attending an event.

If you choose to tell another person about PODER using our online tools, we will ask for that person’s name and online contact information. We use this information to contact that person.

We may ask for additional personal information when you provide feedback or comments, or otherwise communicate with us. While we respect anonymous donations, please note that your personal information is required if you choose to donate using our online form.
